Who Are You Going To Follow…Completely?

The dialogue that follows is an edited (and slightly modified) excerpt from my online program, Kingdom Conversations: Prophetic and Supernatural Encounters With The Word of God. I believe that is relevant for a personal year’s end evaluation. I pray that it provokes and inspires you.

What eternal value does God put on my devaluation of others?

As I look back over the negative or offensive conversations, confrontations, and connections I experienced in 2020 I have to ask myself, “How much value does that have for me eternally?

How does offense, anger, and unforgiveness add to my maturity in the Kingdom, when I’m still reacting to the actions of others instead of responding? Now this is a personal self-assessment, but I want to direct it toward you, my beloved reader. I’m inviting you to join me in a quest to rid our lives of every unnecessary evil.

As you look at your life, as you look at who you are and the way that you have interreacted with or treated others, how have you personally changed the flavor of someone’s life for the better? Not just one person, but everywhere you go.

Who are you?

Are you the same person around others as you are when you’re alone? Does it cost you too much to say something pleasant to the people in your life or to be gracious to others? Are you still stuck in that place where you gauge and assess and judge everyone or judge everything people do according to how it affects you?

Those are actions and behaviors that you might want to examine if you want to add the value to your life that God has given you. Do you understand what I’m saying?

There’s value to you on every hand, okay? There’s value to you. Are you walking in your value? Or are you thinking the way the world does and using their standard to devalue who you are meant to be?

And I’d like somebody, if you could, to respond to that or at least to think about it. Or if you need me to, I will clarify what I’m saying because I’ve asked a series of questions.

I’m really asking one question, but I’m using different examples to make the point. The question that I’m asking is: “How, how are you going to answer Jesus, when He asks you, ‘What did you do with the life that I gave you?’”

How many excuses do you still have on the list that prohibit you from obeying God? And how many of those excuses are things like being offended by other people, or being too broke, or too sick, or being limited because of the masks or the requirements that are unlawfully put upon you?

What are you going to answer?

And in the time that you have left…and you probably do not know just how much time that is:

Who are you going to follow…completely?

Thanks for stopping by.

Blessed Happy New Year. 🙂

  3. Hi Pastor Lonzine, that is a very good question. I would not know how to answer this question a year ago but now learning who I am in and through Christ our Lord and Savior, that’s who I’m following. Learning the truth has set me free in ways I never knew I was broken. Giving Him all my hurts and casting all my cares unto Him and trusting Him in ways that seemed hard then is now easy. He has blessed me with the right people in my path. People who have shown me the true meaning of who Christ through their testimonies and me having my own with many more to come.
