GLEANINGS CONCERNING THE KINGDOM OF GOD

During a recent Love & Unity Movement Zoom meeting, I listened to a group of five-fold representatives discussing Equipping the Saints, the Unity of the Faith, and the Perfect Man from the text of Ephesians 4:11-17.

I was sparked by the maturity and wisdom released through these seasoned men and women, especially as not one of them had time to prepare prior to the call. What each person shared regarding the Kingdom of God provided an abundance of knowledge for me to glean a wealth of understanding.

The Kingdom of God is a real place with a real King and citizens. The Kingdom is a place where every citizen discovers purpose through relationship and understanding of our inheritance as heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ Jesus. My understanding of God’s Kingdom deepened after that call. Let me share a few of my gleanings:

The Body of Christ must first establish the Kingdom with God’s proper foundation…Within the Kingdom the King rules!

This simple foundational truth is essential to the maturation process for every believer. The Kingdom of God is now and must remain the central focus for everything that we do.

The King of kings’ rulership declares and demonstrates dominion authority through His chosen governmental representatives. His chosen governmental representatives are the five-fold ministry gifts found in Ephesians 4:11-12.

Ascension gifts (governmental offices described in Ephesians 4:8-11, 1Corinthians 12:28) are given by the King for the sole purpose of correctly establishing and colonizing His Kingdom in the earth as in Heaven.

Five-fold representatives whose instruction from the Spirit is unified no longer operate through individual platforms. They now operate through the corporate expression of the Church within the Kingdom.

Each gift represents a characteristic of the Son, a demonstration of the continual obedience of sons unified in the will of their Father. Whereby, being a true demonstration of the Father’s heart, the sons are a reflection of God’s deep love for us, His creation.

The Alpha Omega knew before creation what our failings would be, and created us anyway because He knew us and loved us even then. Those things that are destructive to the spiritual well-being of man were conquered before the foundation of creation. This is AGAPE, the Father’s unconditional love for us.

Love without condition, undeserved and unearned by the recipients provided complete reconciliation to Him for the purpose of a relationship with us.

Not declaring condemnation through judgment but gentle conviction shown by actions, the wholeness available in the pattern established through the life of Christ is clearly seen.

 Christ became flesh to be our example. A pattern Son provided for the demonstration of our restored purpose within the earth.

Pure and genuine manifestation of Christ is to be lived out by the original sons who have been restored to their created purpose. We are the original sons.

Through the redemptive work of the Son in complete obedience to the Father, the Triune God provides restoration to His creation. A total reclamation of our inheritance empowered by the Spirit, through the man Jesus Christ. The One that reclaimed us.

The Body of Christ (we) must understand

1) that Kingdom citizenship is more than church membership, 2) that we all have an intricate position within the Kingdom, and 3) that our citizenship gives us authority and dominion in the earth. This is how we can have a more intimate relationship with the King and more effectively represent Him on the earth.
